Royal Caribbean Monarch

I’m planning a 3/4 days family cruise trip to Mexico, Royal Caribbean or Carnival?
Royal Caribbean (Monarch of the Seas); Carnival Cruise( Paradise) – comparing food, activities for kids, service, price… which one should I pick?
To me, I think that, generally speaking, Royal Caribbean is better for families. I think that Carnival is made for a younger crowd, but not necessarily kids. I think that there is too much drinking and partying for kids on board, I know of some familes that went on and really didn’t find it suitable for children. Plus, I think that Royal Caribbean is just an all-around better line.
However, I think the best way for you to decide to go to:

Here you can read about each ship, lots of reviews and really good information. You should be able to find the good, the bad and the ugly with this site. It’s also good to look at the Cruise Line sites to see which ship has more activities, ports, etc. that you will enjoy.
I hope this helps!
